Position Summary
We are seeking a 3rd Shift Materials Handler to support material flow, inventory activities, and general warehouse operations for a well-established manufacturer located about 5 minutes from Southridge Mall in Des Moines. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and holds a current OSHA forklift certification.
Reports to: Operations Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Material Flow
- Support daily warehouse and material handling operations.
- Assist with inventory organization and material movement.
- Help prepare materials and products for production or shipment.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
Safety & Equipment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues as needed.
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Teamwork
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current and valid OSHA forklift operation certificate (required).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience preferred.
Schedule
- Full-Time, 3rd Shift
