Embroidery Machine Operator

Des Moines, IA Full-Time Manufacturing

We are looking for a dependable Embroidery Machine Operator for a direct-hire, permanent position in the Des Moines area. Pay is $19 to $20 an hour. You will run a Tajima computerized multi-head embroidery machine and take orders for hats, shirts and other garments from work order to finished, packaged product.

No embroidery experience is required. The company trains the right person on the machines. At least one year of sewing experience helps, and so does being comfortable on a computer. Being on time, willing to learn and clear in how you communicate matters most.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays and overtime when orders require it. You will be on your feet for the full 8-hour shift, with repeated walking, bending, pushing and pulling, and lifting up to 40 pounds. The pace is fast and priorities change with customer deadlines.
