Sales Back Office – Marketing

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused professional to support our outside sales team and OEM customers. This office-based role plays a critical part in managing day-to-day communication with OEMs, troubleshooting order issues, clarifying job specifications, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically curious, and comfortable working closely with both internal teams and external partners.

This is not a quota-carrying outside sales role—rather, it is a key internal support position that strengthens relationships, drives customer satisfaction, and helps grow business through exceptional service and proactive account management.

Key Responsibilities

OEM Account Support

  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for OEM customers
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries, order status requests, and technical questions
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, logistics) to resolve issues quickly
  • Support outside sales representatives by preparing quotes, gathering customer data, and managing follow-up communication
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, account notes, and activity logs
  • Provide insights on customer trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement

Upselling & Cross-Selling

  • Identify opportunities to recommend complementary products or upgraded solutions
  • Support promotional campaigns and product launches by communicating updates to OEM accounts

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in account management, inside sales, customer service, or OEM support
  • Familiarity with mechanical or engineered products (axles, suspensions, braking systems, or similar) preferred
  • Strong communication skills—clear, professional, and customer-focused
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments
