This is a leadership position supporting Grades 6–12, reporting to the Secondary Principal. The Assistant Principal of Instruction partners with campus leadership to advance rigorous academics, innovative instruction, and strong student outcomes. (215 service days.)

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education administration or a similar field required
- Texas Principal’s certification required
- Experience in school leadership
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to clearly present ideas verbally and in writing
- Ability to read and interpret data to inform instructional planning, programming, and strategy
- Familiarity with current instructional techniques, tools, and models, including Understanding by Design and High Reliability Schools
- Familiarity with systems used for planning, tracking, and assessment
Major Responsibilities
- Help develop and implement the campus improvement plan, aligned to student needs and district priorities
- Assist principals in planning and implementing instructional programs (including Professional Learning Communities), assessment programs, and protocols
- Assist with guidance and supervision of instructional staff
- Attend assigned Section 504 and special education student meetings
- Recommend, lead, and coordinate professional development that drives academic and character outcomes
- Provide leadership to and supervision of the CCMR Counselor and Campus Test Coordinator
- Oversee programs supporting College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) and related accountability
- Oversee Career and Technology Education (CTE) course planning, resources, partnerships, implementation, and compliance
- Provide tactical support toward certification within the Marzano High Reliability Schools framework
- Lead implementation of the Leader in Me framework for grades 6–8 in close collaboration with teachers
- Guide grant-funded schoolwide programs and accelerated learning programs, including summer intervention
- Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures; attend campus events as administrative support
