Responsibilities
- Perform tasks on the packaging production conveyor line: placing empty containers on the line, checking/placing caps, inspecting for filling errors and cap tightening, verifying labeling and coding, boxing containers, taping and palletizing boxes, shrink-wrapping completed pallets, hand-labeling boxes, inventory counts, and scrap counts
- Perform operations per Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures; follow the Chemical Hygiene Plan
- Perform custodial duties in production and break areas as assigned
- Contribute to planning and implementing production schedules as part of the packaging team
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency
- Abide by safety guidelines and maintain good housekeeping in the assigned work area
- Participate in cGMP, quality, safety, and SOP training
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional related education or training is a plus
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
