Position Overview
Our organization is seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide strategic and administrative support to the President & CEO. This role is ideal for a professional who genuinely enjoys executive support, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping leaders, boards, and organizations operating efficiently.
The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted partner to the CEO, supporting communication, board relations, special projects, event coordination, and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of executive assistant or senior administrative experience, exceptional attention to detail, strong written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support executive communications, including reports, presentations, correspondence, and letters.
- Coordinate Board of Directors and committee meetings, schedules, materials, and follow-up actions.
- Draft, edit, and distribute reports, proposals, and executive communications.
- Manage executive calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and special projects.
- Coordinate venues and provide support for board meetings, donor events, and organizational functions.
- Conduct research and prepare briefing materials for executive and donor meetings.
- Assist with regulatory compliance and organizational documentation.
- Partner with leadership and development teams to support strategic initiatives and community engagement efforts.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Executive Assistant or senior administrative experience.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience supporting executive leadership, boards, or nonprofit leadership preferred.
